Patrick Simkins - b.1986 - is an Anglo-Irish visual artist based in Paris. As a painter, he has had solo and group exhibitions in France, Germany, and the UK. His paintings are held in private collections in Europe, the US, and Australia. As an interactive performance artist, his live drawing collaborations have been hosted in galleries, festivals, and performance venues including the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Lille.

My work explores the interplay between destruction and renewal, working through drawing, collage, painting, and the dismantling of my own works to create something new. Fragments are reassembled into new forms of meaning, reflecting a shared human experience—one that embraces imperfection, vulnerability, and the possibility of growth.
